Dr Ragab's Pharaonic Village
Relive the five thousand years of magnificent civilization in just one tour with all the marvelous setting and ambiance.
It all started when Dr. Hassan Ragab visited The Disney World in Florida and decided to do something similar in Egypt with only one difference: everything will be real in this village from people to costumes. Gradually he transformed Jacob Island into an exact replica of ancient Egyptian life. The place is accessible only by boat, and visitors will be able to enjoy the magnificent costumed performers. There is also a mock temple and several museums. The acres of papyrus swamps are a botanist's delight, and the two cafés and children's playground make the island an ideal family daytrip. All tours are multilingual. Entrance fee: Egyptians: entrance & tomb LE35 + museums LE66 + yacht LE81 + lunch LE111 - Foreigners: entrance & tomb LE120 + museums LE158 + yacht LE178 + lunch LE201.
