Ingredients:
1/2 pound Sausage
3/4 cup Barley
2 cups Cabbage, shredded
1 cup Carrot, sliced
1 cup Celery, sliced
1/2 cup Onion, chopped
1 Garlic clove, crushed
1 Bay Leaf
4 cups Chicken Stock
1 cup Water
2 cans Tomatoes
2 tablespoons Mustard
1 cup Croutons
Directions:
Brown sausage in a saucepan over medium heat. Drain.
Add barley, cabbage, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, bay leaf, chicken stock,
water, and tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, or until the barley and
vegetables are tender.
Stir in mustard. Garnish with croutons.
