Ingredients:
100 gram Parmesan cheese, grated
4 baby onions
1 tablespoon olive oil
12 slices beef bacon
2 cloves garlic, minced
375 grams fettuccine
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup whipping cream
black pepper
Directions:
Cut onions into wedges.
Heat half the oil in large frying pan; cook beef bacon, stirring until crisp, drain on absorbent paper. Add remaining oil to same pan, cook onion and garlic, stirring, until onion is soft.
Cook pasta in large saucepan of boiling water, uncovered until just tender; drain.
Return half the beef bacon to pan with combined eggs and cream, pasta and half the cheese. Toss gently over low heat until pasta is coated with sauce.
Serve pasta topped with remaining bacon, remaining cheese and pepper.
