Ingredients:
2 cup cooked rice
1 cup buttermilk (or buttermilk substitute below)
salt to taste
1/2 tsp chilli powder
3 green chillies
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chickpea flour (or all purpose flour)
Directions:
Soak cooked rice in buttermilk (or substitute) and mash well.
Add finely chopped coriander, salt, chilli powder and chopped green chillies, turmeric powder and garlic and mix well with flour to form a batter.
Heat a griddle and spread a little batter like a pancake.
Cook on both sides and serve hot.
Buttermilk substitute
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 tbsp white vinegar
Directions:
Place white vinegar in a liquid measuring cup.
Add enough milk to bring the liquid up to the one-cup line.
Let stand for five minute.
