Rithmo conquers the audience from the very beginning: the décor cleverly combines contemporary western style (hence, the metal beads decorating the windows, the wooden ceiling and the perfect lamps) and Oriental motives. Here you can see wooden trunks, silk cushions, Oriental carpets and huge candles scattered around in such profusion that you feel as if you belong to a certain sect. Indeed, Rithmo is a sect for all those appreciating good music (the DJ is carefully selecting the much beloved hits of the vocal trans artists combining them with ethnical music of India, Western Europe and the Middle East). Be ready as the music is loud (just as it is supposed to be in a night spot), which may not make the place suitable for a constructive conversation, but definitely pleases all those coming here to dance.
At the same time, those who are looking for a more secluded area (the club is not too big and the tables are too close to each other), can choose a table by the window (which is also a perfect spot for people watching). While you are seated, waiters dressed in black T-shirts, cargo pants and heavy army boots, will guide you through their extensive menu of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (at least 6 pages are dedicated to drinks, so take your time choosing carefully from their selection); while those craving for something to fill their tummies with, can opt for appetizers, which do not surprise with their variety (only one page is available), but definitely strike with their original names and rich flavor. Try out the Samurai, which features black ink rice Sushi with marinated salmon, Nigiri Sushi with crab and tempura shrimp, sea scallop Sushi with Danish caviar and sea-bass risotto Sushi with eggplant.
Tasting the Star is yet another dish that amazes with its original name. It contains duck liver cream brulée and toasted finger bread. The Deep Sin is indeed sinfully delicious, offering a mix of prawns yakitori with pineapple chili dip; whereas The Carnivore boasts herbs marinated beef fillet resting on a bed of lettuce.
Desserts are yet another temptation, among which recommended are: Temptation (chocolate moelleux with chocolate sauce) or the Hawaiian Blues (deep fried stuffed pancakes with cream and dried fruits served with ice cream).
Please note that the portions are not too big (after all, Rithmo is more of a snack-place, rather than a traditional dining venue), but are more than enough to fill a hungry stomach. The service is a bit casual, but in general the venue strikes as a suitable spot for groups and couples willing to party the night away.
